Our History

Serving Excellence Since 1981

Foundation Year - 1981

The school was founded in 1981 under the visionary leadership of Mr. Raj Kumar Michael, Director of Ingraham Institute, Ghaziabad, under the aegis of the Methodist Church in India, as the city branch of Ingraham Institute English School, Ghaziabad. Established with the aim of extending quality, value-based education to the region, the institution began its journey with a strong academic foundation and a commitment to holistic development.

In its inaugural year, the school opened its doors to 100 students from Nursery to Class 2, under the able guidance of its first Headmistress, Mrs. Jasmine Paul. She was supported by a dedicated team of founding teachers — Mrs. Reeta Patterson, Ms. Sunita Embuldinya, Ms. Sudha Simon, and Mrs. Elic Masih — whose sincerity and commitment laid the cornerstone of the school's academic culture.

Heritage & Infrastructure

The early classes were conducted in the historic "Kothi," a beautiful colonial-style bungalow constructed in 1923. This heritage building not only provided a serene learning environment but also became an enduring symbol of the institution's roots and identity.

As the school grew in strength and reputation, its infrastructure expanded to meet rising educational needs. From its humble beginnings in a heritage bungalow to a multi-building campus, the expansion has been strategic and purposeful. The construction of the new school building in 2002 with modern Science laboratories marked a significant step forward in enhancing academic facilities, followed by further expansion with the third multi-storied building completed in 2022.
